# Connect Dohoo MCP

> How to connect Dohoo MCP to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Codex using the remote connector URL and OAuth authorization.

Use this guide to connect Dohoo MCP to a supported AI tool.

## MCP URL

```text theme={null}
https://mcp.dohoo.ai/mcp
```

## Supported clients

Dohoo MCP is intended for:

* Claude
* ChatGPT
* Cursor
* Codex

## Connection flow

The exact setup process depends on the AI tool you use. In general, the flow is:

1. Open the custom connector, app, or integration settings in your AI tool.
2. Choose to add a remote MCP connector.
3. Paste the Dohoo MCP URL.
4. Continue through the OAuth authorization flow.
5. Sign in to your Dohoo account when prompted.
6. Approve the requested permissions.
7. Return to the AI tool and start using Dohoo actions.

## Authentication

Dohoo MCP uses OAuth. You do not need to manually copy a Dohoo API key into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Codex.

<Note>
  Dohoo API access can also be used directly without MCP. MCP is for users who want AI tools to interact with Dohoo through a connector-style workflow.
</Note>

## Plan requirements

Dohoo MCP is available on:

* Business
* Agency

There is no separate MCP-only plan. Your available usage limits follow your active Dohoo subscription.

## Before connecting

Make sure that:

* Your Dohoo account is on Business or Agency
* Your Dohoo account has the social accounts you want to use already connected
* You are signed in to the AI tool where you want to add the connector
* You follow the connector setup rules of that AI tool

## After connecting

After connecting Dohoo MCP, the AI tool can help you work with Dohoo actions such as file upload, media library search, connected social account lookup, scheduling, publishing, and status checks.
