Dohoo supports cross-platform publishing to all major social networks. Before you can schedule or publish content, you need to authorize each platform in your Dohoo dashboard. The process uses OAuth — the same industry-standard authorization flow you see when signing in with Google or Facebook — so Dohoo never sees or stores your passwords.

How OAuth Keeps Your Accounts Safe

When you connect a platform, Dohoo redirects you to that platform’s own login page. You sign in there and grant Dohoo only the specific permissions it needs to publish on your behalf. The platform then issues a secure access token to Dohoo — your password is never transmitted to or stored by Dohoo at any point.
Dohoo requests only the permissions required for publishing. It never accesses your private messages, personal posts, or any data unrelated to content creation and scheduling.

How to Connect a Social Account

1

Log in to your Dohoo dashboard

Open dohoo.ai in your browser and sign in to your account.
2

Navigate to Connections

In the left sidebar, click Social Networks to open the social account management page.
3

Add a new account

Find the platform you want to connect in the list. Click Connect under that platform if it’s your first account for that network, or Connect more if you’ve already linked at least one account on that platform.
4

Authorize Dohoo

You will be redirected to the platform’s own OAuth dialog. Review the requested permissions, then click Authorize (or the equivalent button for that platform) to grant access.
5

Confirm the connection

After authorization, you are returned to Dohoo. The newly connected account appears in your Connections list and is ready for scheduling and publishing.
Connect all your platforms right after signing up so everything is ready for your very first scheduled post. You can add as many accounts as your plan allows in a single session.

Profiles Per Plan

The number of social profiles you can connect depends on your subscription plan. The limit applies per platform — you get the full allowance for each supported social network independently.
PlanProfiles per platform
BloggerUp to 4 profiles per platform
BusinessUp to 15 profiles per platform
AgencyUp to 30 profiles per platform
For example, on the Blogger plan you can connect up to 4 Instagram accounts and up to 4 TikTok accounts and up to 4 YouTube accounts, and so on. Connecting 2 Instagram accounts uses 2 of your 4 Instagram slots but does not reduce the limit available on any other platform.

How to Disconnect a Social Account

If you want to remove a connected account from Dohoo:
  1. Go to Connections in the left sidebar.
  2. Find the account you want to remove and select it.
  3. Click Disconnect.
The account is immediately removed from Dohoo. Any posts that were already published remain on the platform; future scheduled posts to that account will be cancelled.

Revoking YouTube / Google Access

Because YouTube is a Google service, you can also revoke Dohoo’s access directly from your Google account at any time, independently of the Dohoo dashboard.
  1. Visit Google Security Settings.
  2. Find Dohoo in the list of connected applications.
  3. Click Remove Access.
This immediately revokes all permissions Dohoo holds for your YouTube channel.
