Dohoo is built on the principle that you should always be in control of your data. Every connection to your social accounts uses industry-standard OAuth authorization, all traffic is encrypted in transit, and Dohoo never stores your social platform passwords. This page explains exactly what data Dohoo collects, how it is used, and how you can delete it at any time.

Authentication Security

Dohoo uses multiple layers of security to protect your account and connected social profiles.

OAuth Authorization

All social platform connections use OAuth. Dohoo never sees or stores your platform passwords — only the secure access tokens issued by each platform.

SSL / TLS Encryption

Every connection between your browser and Dohoo’s servers is encrypted with SSL/TLS, protecting your data in transit.

Session Cookies

Dohoo uses session cookies to keep you authenticated. These cookies never contain your social platform credentials.

Account Best Practices

Use a strong, unique password for your Dohoo account and avoid sharing access with others to minimize the risk of unauthorized use.

Data Dohoo Collects

When you use Dohoo, the following information is collected to provide the service:
  • Account information — your email address and account preferences.
  • Connected social account data — profile information, channel or page details, and the publishing permissions you grant via OAuth.
  • Uploaded media files — videos, images, and other content you add to your Dohoo media library.
  • Publishing settings — scheduled post configurations, captions, hashtags, and platform-specific options you define.

Data Dohoo Does NOT Collect

Dohoo accesses only the permissions needed for publishing. The following data is never collected or stored:
  • Your social platform passwords
  • Private messages from any of your social accounts
  • Follower or following lists, unless explicitly required for a specific feature you enable

Data Sharing

Dohoo does not sell, transfer, or disclose your personal data or social account data to third parties. Your data is used solely within the Dohoo platform to deliver the services you have requested.

YouTube API Services

Dohoo uses the YouTube API Services to allow you to connect your YouTube channel, publish videos, and view channel analytics. By connecting your YouTube account to Dohoo, you also agree to: You can revoke Dohoo’s access to your YouTube data at any time independently of Dohoo — see the Deleting Your Data section below.

Cookies and Local Storage

Dohoo stores a small amount of data in your browser to deliver a smooth experience.
